What is ECS?

ECS is an electronic payment method for repetitive and periodic transactions. How many locations in the country are the ECS schemes available?

National ECS – This is the central version of ECS Credit that was launch in October 2008. This scheme is based in Mumbai and covers all core-banking-enabled branches anywhere in the country. The core banking system is also used in this system.
